Seaman Medical announces our first joint seminar with Dr. Yukie Uchiyama, an eminent medical writer and presenter in Japan. The seminar is sponsored by Science & Technology KK, and will be held the afternoon of March 11, 2011, in Tokyo.

The topic is “Introduction to English Regulatory Writing.” Presented in Japanese, this seminar targets Japanese medical writers but is also highly recommended for anyone doing pharma translation from Japanese to English, especially freelance translators who are interested in networking with in-house pharma translators and writers.

A reception is scheduled after the seminar (separate reservation required), for additional Q&A and networking. If you are thinking about moving into pharma translation, or if you are already working in this area and want to know more about what pharmaceutical companies need in their translations, this is a good place to start. You may meet some of the people who check your translations!
